These cartridges from Jasmine Audio represent China’s first true high end cartridges: The Jasmine Audio Tiger and Turtle MC cartridges. Using cantilevers and line-contact styli sourced from Gyger, they feature the same care and attention you would expect from a European produced moving coil. For smooth response and lowest distortion, these cartridges are low output, and work well with step up transformers and high gain phono stages. With very few windings on the coils, the high frequency response is smooth and extended, without the peaking and aggressive response of high output moving coil cartridges.
