SS-300Mk2 Solid Turntable Mat

This is the Mark II model, a revival of the SS-300 solid turntable mat, which was released over 40 years ago and became a sensation, using modern, advanced metalworking technology. SAEC’s philosophy remains unchanged: for the cartridge to pick up every minute signal etched into the grooves of a record, it’s ideal for the record to be placed on a highly precise and rigid material. The SS-300Mk2 is based on the philosophy and design of the SS-300, with careful selection of the aluminum material, choosing Kobe Steel’s high-precision aluminum alloy “Alhais”*. Emphasis is also placed on manufacturing precision, with each piece meticulously machined to an accuracy of 30μm. The five circular holes on the mat suppress unwanted resonance and further balance the dynamics, ensuring that it does not negatively affect the turntable’s rotation. SRS-9 high-performance record stabilizer

The SRS-9 is an innovative record stabilizer that employs an SVM (Suppress Vibration Material) mechanism, unlike any previous product. The SVM mechanism is characterized by its structure, which incorporates nine separate stainless steel weights. Each weight applies the optimal load according to the slight warping of the record surface, keeping the entire record flat and effectively suppressing vibrations. This method also frees the cartridge stylus from unnecessary vibrations as it traces the record groove, allowing it to pick up all the signals etched in the groove without loss. As a result, the signal-to-noise ratio is increased, the spatial expression is improved, and superior sound is created. Furthermore, by keeping the weight to under 300g, it can be used safely even with record players with low torque, without putting undue stress on the bearings.

SCX-5000 series with PC-Triple C conductors

The SCX-5000 phono cable, which has received high praise for its meticulous attention to detail, including the adoption of the much-talked-about new conductor PC-Triple C, silk thread interlining, and fluorine insulation, is available in DIN to XLR, XLR to XLR, DIN to RCA, RCA to RCA, and L-shaped DIN plug types.

PC-Triple C conductors are produced using a unique constant-angle continuous transfer casting method, which changes the grain boundaries and crystals that block the direction of signal flow in the longitudinal direction, creating continuous connections between crystals. This allows for stress-free transmission of sound from low to high frequencies, achieving higher S/N ratio. Furthermore, the internal structure, including silk thread interlining and fluorine insulation, is carefully designed to protect delicate analog signals from noise, vibration, and static electricity, which are causes of sound degradation. This super-reference phono cable transmits music signals with unified tone and extreme fidelity across all frequency ranges.

Earth/Grounding Accessories

Most systems run into problems with ground loops, hum and RFI.  SAEC has created a suite of accessories to address noise problems.  Solutions exist to ground USB, RCA, XLR, CAT and TRS (phone jacks).  They can be terminated in spades or bananas.  They do not short the signal carrying or “hot” portion of the connector.  They exist to securely connect the ground portion of various connectors to a central ground in the system.  This helps solve bothersome ground loops, hum, EMI, RFI, etc..  Because there are an infinite combination of cables, components, rooms, and radio frequency scenarios, it is recommended that an experienced technician address these issues.  Some problems and solutions are counterintuitive and unpredictable.

SCX-5000 Serendipity

This high-quality phono line cable has an optimal structure for DS Audio’s optical cartridges. Since DS Audio’s optical cartridges require both signal and power lines for transmission, this cable employs a structure that separates the signal and power lines. Furthermore, using a unique continuous forging and drawing technology, it minimizes crystal grain boundaries that hinder signal transmission and creates a continuous crystal structure along the longitudinal direction, resulting in superior conductivity. SCX-05 Serendipity

When DS Audio’s optical cartridge uses a standard SCX-5000 phono cable, the signal and power are transmitted adjacent to each other. Therefore, the SCX-05Serendipity uses a cable with shielding for each core, and further shields the signal and power supplies adjacent to each other to minimize noise interference. Of course, it employs a PC-Triple C conductor, which achieves superior conductivity by minimizing crystal grain boundaries that hinder signal transmission and creating a continuous crystal structure along the longitudinal direction, thanks to DS Audio’s unique continuous forging and drawing technology. This, combined with the cable structure, enables extremely low noise and high-speed signal transmission. As a result, it allows for the reproduction of subtle sounds and the depth and height of the sound field. This is the birth of a phono cable for optical cartridges that helps enhance the high-quality sound reproduction of evolving optical cartridges.
