SCX-5000 series with PC-Triple C conductors
The SCX-5000 series phono cable, which has received high praise for its meticulous attention to detail, including the adoption of PC-Triple C conductors, silk thread interlining, and FEP insulation, is available in DIN to XLR, XLR to XLR, DIN to RCA, RCA to RCA, and L-shaped DIN plug types.
PC-Triple C conductors are produced using a unique constant-angle continuous transfer casting method, which changes the grain boundaries and crystals that block the direction of signal flow in the longitudinal direction, creating continuous connections between crystals. This allows for stress-free transmission of sound from low to high frequencies, achieving higher S/N ratio. Furthermore, the internal structure, including silk thread interlining and fluorine insulation, is carefully designed to protect delicate analog signals from noise, vibration, and static electricity, which are causes of sound degradation. This super-reference phono cable transmits music signals with unified tone and extreme fidelity across all frequency ranges.
SCX-5000 Features
- Conductor: Employs PC-Triple C conductors with stable electrical characteristics such as ultra-low distortion and high conductivity.
- Insulator: Uses fluorine (FEP) resin with low dielectric constant. It is stable in terms of capacitance changes and dielectric loss tangent that suppresses transmission loss, allowing for high-speed signal transmission without loss. Shielding
- Triple shielding consisting of separate braided shields for L and R + overall copper foil shield + braiding provides complete noise reduction.
- Filler: Uses silk as a filler, which is flexible, elastic, and highly resistant to static electricity.
- Sheath: Uses flame-retardant polyethylene with vibration damping material, which has a lower dielectric constant than PVC. It suppresses vibrations.
- Plugs: Neutrik gold-plated plugs are used for L and R, and SAEC original gold-plated plugs are used for RCA.

- *FEP, as compared to PTFE, is a better choice for conductor encapsulation. PTFE cannot be melted and reshaped easily (requiring special sintering), while FEP is a true thermoplastic that can be melt-extruded and heat-bonded.
