Magnesium Shielded Digital Cables

TiGLON digital cables will improve the performance of your digital equipment by increasing the integrity of digital transmissions.  A major problem for digital is background noise that slows data transmission and creates errors. Magnesium is singular in offering an outstanding combination of vibration absorption, mechanical rigidity and electromagnetic shielding.  The properties of magnesium have been proven over the years, through use in aerospace, auto racing, and for audio in headshells and tonearms.  TiGLON digital cables take this material full circle by applications in cable shielding and damping.  TiGLON has developed a magnesium foil having excellent audio characteristics:  An ideal shielding layer that dampens external vibration and blocks external EMI/RFI radiation.

Magnesium Shielded BNC Digital Cable MGL-DB1

The MGL-DB1 uses patented magnesium shielding technology for its first application in a digital cable.  The MGL-DB1 uses BNC connectors with 99.99% pure silver center-pins for the best possible electrical connection.  The conductor is 99.999% pure silver wire insulated with Teflon.  The three-layer shielding uses copper foil, silver-plated stranded copper and the outer magnesium shield.  Polyethylene and polyurethane are also used for insulation.  EMI, RFI and microphonics are reduced to the lowest levels that can be practically obtained.

  • 1.05mm 99.9995% pure silver single wire conductor
  • Teflon, polyethylene and polyurethane insulation
  • copper foil, stranded silver-plated copper and magnesium shield
  • 75Ω characteristic impedance
  • “magnesium shield” patent No. 4282759

Magnesium Shielded Digital Cable MGL-D1

2012 accessories Excellence Gold Award

The MGL-D1 uses patented magnesium shielding technology for its first application in a digital cable.  The MGL-D1 uses MGP-RH4 RCA plugs with an outer colet  was attached made of magnesium to “”, for the best possible electrical connection. Plug was attached made of magnesium to “MGP-RH4”, enabling the transmission of digital wonders to improve the S / N in the sense of new technology magnesium filter further.

  • 1.05mm 99.9995% pure silver single wire conductor
  • Teflon, polyethylene and polyurethane insulation
  • copper foil, stranded silver-plated copper and magnesium shield
  • 75Ω characteristic impedance

Magnesium Shielded LAN cable MGL-L1

The MGL-L1 is the first LAN cable to use TiGLON’s patented magnesium shielding technology.  By blocking or absorbing EMI, RFI and outside vibration, we have built a cable that will allow higher transmission speed.  The MGL-L1 has improved the signal-to-noise ratio ensuring accurate transfer of data.
